Software Installation

Steps to install the Cogent CSD200 Biometric Device Software

1. Download latest working Cogent CSD200 software

👉 Click to Download from Google Drive   

👉 Click to Download from Cogent Site 

2. Unplug the Device from the computer and Close all browsers

3. Uninstall Previous Version of  Precision Biometric CSD200 Software 

a. PBRDService
b. PBManagementClient
c. Precision-CSD200 

4. Right click “PBRDService.exe” and select Run as Administrator

5. Follow the below Installation Steps

6. Go to run prompt, type services.msc and press enter

7. Check for the following services are running (Started Status)

   

a. PrecisionBiometricService

b. PrecisionManagementClient

c. PrecisionRDService

 

8. Connect the Fingerprint Device and wait for Notification Message "PBCSD200 - Device ready to use"

9. Open the “PrecisionRDServiceTestApplication.html” with supported browser

    Program Files ⟶ Precision Biometric ⟶ PBRDService

10. Click on Discover RD Service

11. If “RDService Discover Successfully”, Click on “Capture” button to capture the fingerprint

12. If the fingerprint is captured successfully, Following Data will be displayed here. Then It will work in other Web Applications
